She is a student with Midwives College of Utah in their CPM to Bachelors program. In her spare time when she is not learning, teaching or catching babies, she loves to listen to live music and musical theater and spend time with her family.

Understanding The Needs Of The Newborn Who Has Experienced A Hypoxic Insult During Labor: The Relationship Between Hypoxia, Hypoglycemia And Hypothermia.
When a hypoxic insult occurs during labor or birth, a syndrome of consequences often presents as a sequelae. In this lecture we will define hypoxia, hypoglycemia and hypothermia and understand how one of these can create a cascade of consequences involving the other two.
