Call for Educational Images Related to Lactation

GOLD Learning is inviting you to share your clinical lactation photos for educational purposes! 

We are looking for pictures that can be used at the highest level of education for those who work in the lactation field.

We are especially seeking images that reflect diverse families and individuals around the world.

We are looking for:

  • images that have a clinical component (i.e. mastitis, engorgement, nipple bleb, dermatitis, etc.)
  • images showing unique anatomy presentation (i.e supernumerary nipple, bifurcated nipple, etc.)
  • images showing breast/chestfeeding in challenging circumstances (i.e. feeding a baby in the NICU, feeding multiples, etc.)
  • images of hand expression and pumping
  • images of expressed human milk in all milk stages
  • images showing lactation using various technology (i.e. nipple shields, breast shells, hydrogels, lactation aids, etc)

Benefits of contributing include:

  • Helping the lactation field increase educational knowledge
  • For each photo that is selected for use, a choice of:
    • $5 USD (minimum - based on subject and quality) or $10 GOLD Learning Credit, and
    • recognition as a contributor of educational creative content on the appropriate GOLD Learning website

Photo Submission Requirements:

  • well-lit and in focus
  • at least 1000px on the short side of the photo
  • .jpg, .png, or .tiff format
  • written consent (see below for details)

Consent:
Please note that GOLD Learning will require the photographer to sign a consent of use document prior to submission. All subjects in the photo (or their guardians) will also need to sign a consent document.

Are you in need of assistance with downloading your certificates? Follow the steps below.

Presentations can be found on the Open Lectures Page: https://www.goldlearning.com/open-lectures 

1. View Presentation

Once you are on the Open Lectures page, you will see the presentations that have been added to your account. To view the presentations, select Expand on the right hand side and the presentation's detail will appear underneath. To access the presentation, select View.

2. Quiz Completion

After exiting a Presentation, you will see a pop-up in front of your screen. In case you missed it - click on the Quiz link below the Presentation title from within your Open Lectures or the Live Webinar Lobby. Please note there are two pages to the Quiz.

3. Complete the Evaluation

We welcome and appreciate your feedback as it provides us and the speaker valuable insight on how to improve our work.

Please repeat steps 1 - 3 above, if you purchased a package with more than one Presentation. Before proceeding to step 4.

4. Submit Final Record

Once the Quiz and Survey has been submitted. The progress bar will show as Complete and you will be asked to Submit Final Record. 

You will be prompted with the following question:

Are you sure you would like to submit your completed attendance record?

Select Yes, if you have completed the individual presentation and/or all the presentations you would like to obtain a certificate for.

Select No, if you have not finished viewing all of the presentations you would like to obtain a certificate for.

5. Download your Certificate

Once all steps have been followed, certificates can be found on the Completed Lectures page.

You will have the option to Print or save them as a PDF on your computer.

Downloading on a mobile device?

Certificates can usually be found in folders on your device.

  5. Start Viewing!
    • Our team will manually process your order and setup accounts for each member of your group. They will be provided individual accounts in order to access lectures and collect their individual certificates.

FAQ's

  • Groups consist of 10 or more members unless specified on the product. The price on the registration page is the cost per person.
  • Will your organization be paying for your group? We can generate the required invoice/documents to initiate a purchase order. Please contact us for assistance.
  • On the final step, select an offline payment option (Wire Transfer or Cheque). Please note that your group will not receive conference access until the payment has been cleared.
  • Once payment has been cleared, all your members are automatically sent emails with their username and password.
  • I'm close but I was not able to find a total of 10 members. - Contact Us! We'll make it work for you :)

Collecting Money

  • PayPal is a great way to collect money from group members that are not close by. Please note that PayPal transactions may incur small fees to receive and send money. If you use this method, please let us know if you are incurring fees and we will deduct it from your total.
  • If you are collecting payment from colleagues in multiple currencies, please only pay us in USD. If you incur fees or discrepancies due to converting currencies to USD, please let us know and we will deduct it from your total.
  • If you are having trouble collecting funds before a deadline, or if a colleague insists on paying us personally, please contact us and we can explore additional options.

Join our GOLD Family! GOLD Conferences International (GOLD) has been dedicated to providing evidence-based online education to Health Care Professionals in the maternal-child health care field for the last 15 years. The GOLD Community has grown substantially over the years – our GOLD Lactation Online Conference is now the largest lactation conference in the world with over 4500 conference participants attending from 95 countries annually. Our GOLD family has expanded with the addition of GOLD Neonatal and GOLD Midwifery and various other GOLD Learning Symposiums and Events dedicated to the education and professional development of healthcare professionals in the maternal-child health field, with more online conferences and symposiums to come. We've been working hard over the years to create an interactive and exciting learning atmosphere our participants, along with a dynamic and enriching environment for our team, and now we're looking to expand. We are located in beautiful British Columbia, Vancouver, and have many team members in other regions of the world.
