Biography:
Catherine is a mother of two young boys, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and La Leche League Leader who is dedicated to working with women, children, and the communities that grow from them. She has worked in maternal-child health for the past 10 years, in the busiest communities in Toronto.
Catherine consults for Ontario's Maternal Newborn and Early Child Development Resource Centre, the Association of Ontario Health Centres, and the Association of Ontario Midwives.

Peer Support & Community Engagement for Better Breastfeeding Outcomes
This presentation will discuss the creation of peer support groups in diverse communities, including access and usage. It will also explore the effective use of breastfeeding resources and the importance of community engagement in both programme design and evaluation.
