Abstract:
This presentation will discuss the creation of peer support groups in diverse communities, including access and usage. It will also explore the effective use of breastfeeding resources and the importance of community engagement in both programme design and evaluation.
Learning Objectives:

Objective 1: The learner will be able to: have clarity on the importance and unique impact of peer support in breastfeeding
Objective 2: The learner will be able to: determine the community resources required for breastfeeding groups to reach the most under served communities
Objective 3: The learner will be able to: understand the variety of support groups, and their impact in each community group.
